Luxury Apartments In Leeds
We want to make sure that your tenancy with us is the best it can be. Piccadilly Residence offers a safe, secure and convenient environment in the heart of the city.
Looking for an apartment can be an exciting yet potentially daunting task. Generally, the best properties are rented first so it’s important to be prepared and organised by looking for an apartment as soon as possible. We advise making a list of what is important to you in finding your new accommodation.
Most cities have established areas where like-minded people tend to prefer to live. If you’re not aware of these locations already, speak to your employer, university and/or people you know who have knowledge of the region to help identify the best locations.
You are welcome to call us on 01904 627 065 for advice on what location may suit you.
Life is all about the balance of priorities and everything in moderation, we all need some time to relax so check out what restaurants, cafes, parks, gyms and health centres are nearby.
When renting, most accommodation providers will not include the cost of extra services. It's important to check to see if they include the following:
- Energy bills which may include gas, electricity & water
- TV license (An optional fee)
- Internet/digital television (An optional fee)
Contents insurance: this is an insurance which protects your possessions if there is a theft or accidental damage. A rental accommodation provider will not include this as standard, however the property itself will be insured.
Council Tax: students in full-time education do not currently have to pay for council tax. The price of this can vary dependant on the property’s local council banding.
Is the apartment in close proximity to your workplace or university? Think about how far and for how long you will be happy commuting each day. Take into consideration transport links: the train station, bus station, bus stops, taxi ranks etc.
Food & Drink
We understand how important it is to have local grocery and food stores nearby for those last minute ingredients. It’s good to check if there is a convenience store such as a Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda or Morrisons close by. Piccadilly Residence is a 5-minute walk from local amenities, public transport links and recreational facilities.
Safety & security
At Piccadilly Residence we go beyond the minimum standards. YPP, our exclusive lettings agents, are part of the Property Redress Scheme which is a government authorised consumer scheme which helps advise on issues that may arise during your tenancy. YPP are also compliant with the Leeds Landlords accreditation scheme and the Residential Landlords Association.
For our tenants' safety, we have 24-hour CCTV and manned security vehicles which move between sites. However, we always advised that you lock windows and doors when your property is unattended and do not tamper with safety equipment which is installed in your property.

As an international tenant working or studying in the UK it can be difficult to understand what to take into consideration before coming to the UK. Financing your time in the UK can be expensive. Dependant on your circumstances there may be help offered financially, particularly in the case of students.

The Piccadilly Residence loyalty scheme is a partnership created between YPP and nearby cafe's and restaurants in the Piccadilly area. Tenant's can enjoy a discount at various nearby establishments when they present their resident loyalty card, perfect on those days you would prefer to avoid the kitchen.
Res life (Resident Life) is a new initiative we are rolling out in our large residences, including Piccadilly Residence. The initiative aims to create a residential community for tenants where you can look forward to 'Meet up' events and get to know your neighbours.
